THE UPPER ROOMS
Life is lived in a series of rooms.
I chose the name “The Upper Rooms” simply because most of my ministerial life has taken place on the top floors of the buildings that I have served in. In-fact, I am currently writing this very bio on the 4th floor of the church that I am serving in now.

Quote Corner
Charles H. Spurgeon
“Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strength.”
“A good character is the best tombstone. Those who loved you and were helped by you will remember you when forget-me-nots have withered. Carve your nome on hearts, not on marble.”
“Wisdom is the right use of knowledge. To know is not to be wise. Many men know a great deal, and are all the greater fools for it. There is no fool so great a fool as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom.”
“Knowing that the time to sleep has come, the Lord sleeps, and does well in sleeping. Often, when we have been fretting and worrying, we should have glorified God far more had we literally gone to sleep.”

Charles H. Spurgeon
Bible Verses
Jeremiah 8:20
“The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.”
Hebrews 4:1-2
“Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us fear lest any of you should seem to have failed to reach it. For good news came to us just as to them, but the message they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united by faith with those who listened.”
Psalm 8:4-5
“What is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor.”
